Stylish new look

The Eos has been handsomely adorned with a new Volkswagen family face, featuring the signature chrome radiator grille and low mounted air intake highlights. Decorated with chrome strips, they also appear along the body waistline. And to finish off, it now comes standard with athletic Michigan 17” alloy wheels.

Lighting

Along with the enhanced family face of the Eos, is a new lighting design that’s stylish yet also practical. The optional Bi-Xenon headlights come with dynamic cornering lights and LED daytime driving lights, to help enhance your vision. Plus front-mounted fog lights come standard for when you need them.

Leather interior

Slide into the roomy 4-seater Eos, and soak in the delights of either its ‘Black’ or ‘Corn Silk Beige’ Vienna leather appointed upholstery. Its heated front seats can be electrically adjusted as an option in 12 different ways, including lumbar adjustments. While access to the rear seats is made easy with optional electric entry aid. Once you’re seated, take in the decorative highlights around the interior, including ‘Black Peak’ aluminium inserts, alloy pedals, and chrome air vent surrounds.

5 piece CSC roof system

With the simple press of the control switch, it automatically folds down in an impressive 25 seconds. What’s more, it also features an integrated sliding/tilting glass sunroof, which can be opened separately. And did we mention the windscreen mounted wind deflector?

Thanks to the Eos’ Bluetooth module, you can now easily take calls while you’re driving. Once it’s connected to your phone, it can effortlessly stream calls or music through the stereo system.

RCD510 in-car entertainment system

Enjoy the best in audio – and comfort – from the RCD510 system, fitted as standard. This multi-speaker audio system also comes with a 6-disc CD changer and SD card slot. Its touchscreen also displays dual zone climate control air-conditioning functions and Optical Parking System.

Active safety systems

Should you encounter a dangerous driving situation, the Eos’ active safety systems immediately come into play. Traction control systems - such as EDL, ASR and ESP - ensure that you maintain control of the Eos by improving grip, preventing wheel spin and adjusting engine power. While Braking control systems - like Brake Assist, ABS and EBD – provide powerful protection and braking power when you need it.

Passive safety systems

In the event of an accident, a number of safety features in the Eos work to protect you and your passengers. Front and front side/head airbags provide the best protection, working in conjunction with safety optimised front seat head restraints and three-point seatbelts. Should there be an incident where the Eos rolls over, spring-loaded roll bars extend over the rear seats and together with the high strength windscreen frame, provide additional rigidity and protection.

6-speed DSG with HSA

Enjoy the thrill of a manual transmission with the comfort of an automatic. The sporty 6-speed DSG transmission features electronically controlled clutches and gearshift. As it pre-selects the next gear, gear changes are quick and seamless with virtually no interruption to power or acceleration. While Hill Start Assist (HSA) momentarily holds the brake when you’re pulling away on a hill to avoid rollbacks.

Parking assistance as standard

Slip into parking spaces effortlessly with the Eos’ range of parking assistance technology. Rear parking sensors as standard alert you as you come close to anything as you park, including a rear obstacle sensor as you open or close the roof. While the Optical Parking System with obstacle sensors help you see where you’re guiding the Eos on the dashboard-mounted screen.

Park Assist 2 (Optional)

The optional Park Assist 2 system uses sensors mounted on the front, rear and sides of the vehicle to let you know whether a parking space is the right fit. Then simply put the Eos into reverse and control the speed. It will steer and manoeuvre the Eos perfectly into both parallel parking spaces and 90 degree parks.

TDI diesel technology

The Eos’ 2.0L TDI engine comes turbocharged and features common rail diesel technology. Precise amounts of fuel are injected at high pressure to deliver an impressive 320Nm of torque and 103kW of power, with exceptional fuel economy. While the clever diesel particulate filter helps to curb CO2 emissions. The result? A cleaner burning engine, with that compelling Volkswagen performance.

TSI petrol technology

Volkswagen's TSI technology includes turbocharged petrol engines with direct injection. The innovative engineering boasts excellent torque and power at low revolutions - for you that means lower fuel consumption and fewer emissions.
